June 9, 2025 – June 30, 2026

You don’t need to believe in astrology to know something’s shifting. You can feel it in your body. Maybe you’re more emotional than usual. Maybe you’re craving softness, stillness, a sense of being met without needing to explain yourself. Not a physical place necessarily, but a state of being. A place inside you where you can finally exhale.
That’s the invitation of Jupiter in Cancer.
On June 9, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, entered Cancer, the sign of emotional truth, sensitivity, and belonging. This energy will stay with us until the end of June 2026. Unlike the kind of growth that pushes us forward, Cancer teaches us to grow by turning inward. To grow not by doing more, but by feeling more.
The sacred intelligence of emotion
Jupiter is like an internal compass pointing toward what wants to grow. It says, here. Go deeper. Go wider. Expand here.
In Cancer, that expansion happens through your emotions, your inner child, your capacity to care. Not just for others, but for yourself. It’s about learning that emotional sensitivity isn’t a weakness. It’s the most sacred intelligence you carry.
You might find yourself longing to reconnect with family, blood or chosen. You might be rethinking how you give and receive care. Or catching yourself, again, trying to earn love by overextending instead of simply being.
Emotional openness isn’t about pleasing others or appearing gentle to gain approval. It’s about being honest with yourself about what you need.
How it feels in the body
In my own practice, both as an astrologer and somatic therapist, I see how emotions are not abstract. They’re physical. They’re alive.
In meditation, I often imagine creating a warm, protective womb around myself. It’s a space where I feel held. Where I can listen with my entire body, not just my ears. I call it active receptivity. That’s Jupiter in Cancer at its best. Not passive, but deeply attuned. Able to hold, and be held.
You don’t have to keep proving your worth by giving more than you have. Real nourishment includes being able to receive. That takes courage too.
Astrology as a mirror
Astrology doesn’t hand you a future. It reflects what’s alive in you right now and offers a map for moving through it with more consciousness and choice.
When people come to me for a reading, I don’t tell them what’s going to happen. I help them come home to what they already know. The truth that lives in their body. The instincts they’ve been overriding. The emotions they’ve been waiting to feel fully.
What was growing last time?
If you want to connect with this energy more personally, look back to the last time Jupiter was in Cancer, June 2013 through July 2014. What were you learning about care, family, home, or emotional truth? What was breaking open? What felt tender but important?
The past isn’t here to be relived. It’s here to remind you of something essential you were always meant to carry forward, now with more clarity and strength.
For those of us in San Miguel
I love this city. And sometimes I need to leave it to breathe. But every time I return, I feel that soft exhale. The familiar faces. The quiet knowing that I belong.
If something inside you is aching to come home, don’t wait. The longer we ignore that call, the more we harden, disconnect, forget what we’re made of.
A session with me is not just a reading. It’s a space to be deeply felt, to name what’s been silently stirring, to recognize what’s real beneath the noise. We don’t fix you. We meet you fully, bravely, and gently.
Special rate available for San Miguel locals.
This city deserves more people who feel safe enough to live unguarded, unapologetically, from the heart.
