The original LINA, and the address for dressing up. LINA Boutique on Relox is where the LINA name began, a decade ago, with handmade paper flower crowns for Día de Muertos. Today the racks lean formal: gowns and special-occasion dresses with structured silhouettes and romantic cuts, made for weddings, galas and graduations. Roberto González and his partner Fausto Bautista run the store, named for Roberto's late mother, Lina. Its sister shop, Maison LINA on Aldama, keeps to everyday couture. Dresses here sit mostly between 3,000 and 4,000 pesos, well below what the finish suggests. Each autumn the boutique becomes one of the city's go-to stops for Día de Muertos, with paper flower crowns, Catrina makeup and a dress to finish the look.
