Food & Drink — San Miguel de Allende

Casa Cuadrante

Casa Cuadrante

Casa Cuadrante is part café, part gallery, and entirely one of San Miguel’s most thoughtfully imagined spaces. Set inside a restored home just steps from the Parroquia, the courtyard offers a quiet pause from the rhythm of centro, where mornings unfold slowly over coffee and afternoons stretch a little longer than planned. On one side, the café serves breakfast and lunch built around fresh, vibrant flavors, with standout dishes like shakshuka and chicken milanesa. On the other, Yandro Galería brings a sculptural, creative presence to the space, led by co-owner Nicole Gendreau, blending art seamlessly into the everyday experience. The atmosphere balances traditional warmth with a more contemporary, design-forward sensibility. It feels at once like a studio, a gathering place, and a sanctuary, where every detail has been considered. What was once a neglected property now carries a distinct creative energy, making it as much about how you spend your time as what’s on the table.
